Happy Ox!

It is finally the Year of the Ox! And according to the Chinese zodiac, I'm in for a very good year! Looking back on my experiences, I can definitely say that some of the best guys I ever dated in Korea were the Ox boys who were four years younger. The Ox were the slow, but steady ones. Solid and reliable. You make plans with them and they never back out on you. They work hard and laugh easy.

The Year of the Ox is supposed to be one of hard work and reflection. A time of rebuilding. This year I'm supposed to have 10 favorable months and 2 neutral ones. I can say that January has turned out to be favorable. I am enjoying work, and have recently been making exciting headway with my screenwriting. I have met two new guys (a couple) who have been really fun to hang out with. Dad's health is doing much better. Just four weeks ago, none of this was true.

I don't want to say I'm superstitious, but I do know that life has its ups and downs. And if the 5000 year-old Chinese civilization wants to tell me that this year will be full of ups, who am I to throw away that fortune cookie?

RYC: you just wish we were copying you =P

the script to cross something out is <.s>blah<./s>
just take out the periods, and replace "blah" with anything you want.

I suppose i'm a baby lol, potty trained though :]

Hey Rob, I was thinking about using John Thain as a running joke on this blog. But then thought, why subject good people to such torture? Thain decided to pay back the $1.22 million in office renovations (awwww.... what a guy!!!) and has now been subpoenaed by the New York State Attorney General for a criminal investigation into misappropriation of resources. Could John Thain be headed to jail? That would be a serious miscarriage of justice--jail is too good for him. Have him serve in Afghanistan.

Chinese zodiac... an interesting system. According to my sources, the most compatible signs of each sign is always either four years older or four years younger. Not sure if it's been proven, but I'd like to think it's true. My parents are four years apart, the best relationships I've had were with guys four years apart from me. Just an interesting observation.

Happy New Year of the Ox!

Joey,

You're absolutely right about the four-year thing. Ox boys are four years younger than I am. I have always been enamored with the snake boys who are 8 years younger (and oh so gorgeous), but they think I'm too old for them...
